Occupy LA :What They Dont Want You To Know

From Occupy LA's website :Occupy LA/ Wallstreet is leaderless resistance movement with people of many colors, genders and political persuasions. The one thing we all have in common is that We Are The 99% that will no longer tolerate the greed and corruption of the 1%. We are using the revolutionary Arab Spring tactic to achieve our ends and encourage the use of nonviolence to maximize the safety of all participants.
This #ows movement empowers real people to create real change from the bottom up. We want to see a general assembly in every backyard, on every street corner because we don't need Wall Street and we don't need politicians to build a better society.

After over 50 days of camping out at City Hall an eviction notice was served to all those that had been camping out. But the people were not leaving without a fight for what they believed in.

The LAPD are being praised for a job well done, their planning, and safe use of force in dealing with the eviction of Occupy L.A. protestors early Wednesday morning. Some protesters are reporting physical confrontations with police of the LAPD .

In a KCAL 9 video, it clearly shows Tyson Heder, taking pictures of the eviction, when a police officer pushed him to the ground with heavy force. The video showed Heder then standing up, yelling at the officer, then being forced to the ground several times by other policemen.

Tyson was taken into custody , Wednesday morning.

Hundreds of protestors were arrested an estimated 200 during this eviction. Over 500 tents were counted & thousands in attendance. Occupy LA is still in full affect with daily protests scheduled to occur at City Hall throughout the week. For more info on how you can donate or participate please visit Occupy LA .
